Frequently Asked Questions

Helpful answers about how I work, what's included and how residential electrical projects are quoted and delivered.

Getting a quotation is straightforward. Contact me by phone, email or through the enquiry form on the contact page with a short description of the work and your property location. For smaller jobs I can often provide an indication straight away, and for larger projects I arrange a property review first. You then receive a clear written quotation outlining the scope of work before anything is scheduled.
Yes. For anything beyond a simple task I prefer to review the property first. Seeing the existing installation, the layout and how you use the space means my recommendations are based on your home rather than guesswork, and it allows me to prepare an accurate written quotation with a defined scope of work.
I provide residential electrical services to homeowners in Worthing and the surrounding local area. If you are nearby and unsure whether your property is within range, get in touch and I will let you know. As a sole trader I keep my service area focused so I can offer attentive, reliable service.
Materials such as fittings, accessories and components are quoted clearly as part of each project. Your written quotation sets out what is included so there are no surprises. Where you have specific products or finishes in mind, let me know during the enquiry and I will factor them into the quotation.
Timescales depend on the nature and size of the work. Smaller tasks such as a lighting upgrade or socket installation are often completed within a single visit, while larger projects like a consumer unit upgrade are scheduled accordingly. Your written quotation and our scheduling conversation will give you a realistic expectation of timing.
Payments are handled securely. Fixed-price packages can be paid online through a trusted, secure payment provider, and bespoke projects are agreed and invoiced based on the written quotation. You always know the price before work is scheduled, and all work is a one-time project rather than an ongoing arrangement.
No. Every project is delivered as a one-time residential electrical service with a defined scope and a completion review. I do not offer subscriptions, recurring billing, maintenance memberships or ongoing service contracts. If you need further work in future, you are welcome to enquire again as a new project.
Every project ends with a completion review so you understand what has been done and are satisfied with the result. I am happy to answer any questions about the completed work. As all services are project-based, there is no ongoing contract once the project is closed — any future work is treated as a fresh enquiry.
